Ghazal no.12

1.
سراپا رہنِ عشق و نا گزیرِ الفتِ ہستی
عبادت برق کی کرتا ہوں اور افسوس حاصل کا
2.
بہ قدرِ ظرف ہے ساقی خمارِ تشنہ کامی بھی
جو تو دریاۓ مے ہے تو میں خمیازہ ہوں ساحل کا

सरापा रहन-ए `इशक़-ओ-ना-गुज़ीर-ए उलफ़त-ए हसती
`इबादत बरक़ की करता हूं और अफ़सोस हासिल का
2.
ब क़दर-ए ज़रफ़ है साक़ी ख़ुमार-ए तिशनह-कामी भी
जो तू दरया-ए मै है तो मैं ख़मयाज़ह हूं साहिल का

bah qadr-e :zarf hai saaqii ;xumaar-e tishnah-kaamii bhii
jo tuu daryaa-e mai hai to mai;N ;xamyaazah huu;N saa;hil kaa

Translation

1.
Head to toe I am the pawn of love and having unavoidable affection towards existence,
I worship the lightning and feel sorrow for the gist.
2.
Bartender,exhilaration of thirsts are according to capability,
If you are the sea of wine,then I am the retribution of the shore.
( Never satisfied with the liquid.)
