Translation

1.
When for journey beloved tied a carrier on the back of a camel,
The heat of desire bound on to every particle a single heart.
2.
The wise people amazed with height of wantonness of coquetry,
The skill of mirror is bound by the wounded small parrot.
(Just polished mirrors reflect light green shades.)
(They are taught to speak in front of mirror.)
(This is the couplet of Sufism. Ghalib created simile__beauty as mirror, her quality as skill of mirror and grief-stricken world as wounded parrot.)
3.
Despair and desire demanded one vast battle-field,
Dignity of courage fixed the magic of the heart of beggar.
4.
The subject matters of thirst of artistic temperament did not become bound "Ghalib",
Even if I opened the heart, sea also bound by the shore.
