Ghazal no.42

1.
عرضِ نیازِ عشق کے قابل نہیں رہا
جس دل پہ ناز تھا مجھے وہ دل نہیں رہا
2.
جاتا ہوں داغِ حسرتِ ہستی لیے ہوئے
ہوں شمعِ کشتہ در خورِ محفل نہیں رہا
3.
مرنے کی اے دل اور ہی تدبیر کر کہ میں
شایانِ دست و خنجرِ قاتل نہیں رہا
4.
بر روۓ شش جہت درِ آئینہ باز ہے
یاں امتیازِ ناقص و کامل نہیں رہا
5.
وا کر دیے ہیں شوق نے بندِ نقابِ حسن
غیر از نگاہ اب کوئی حائل نہیں رہا
6.
گو میں رہا رہینِ ستمہاۓ روزگار
لیکن ترے خیال سے غافل نہیں رہا
7.
دل سے ہواۓ کشتِ وفا مٹ گئی کہ واں
حاصل سواۓ حسرتِ حاصل نہیں رہا
8.
بیدادِ عشق سے نہیں ڈرتا مگر اسد
جس دل پہ ناز تھا مجھے وہ دل نہیں رہا

`अरज़-ए नियाज़-ए `इशक़ के क़ाबिल नहीं रहा
जिस दिल पह नाज़ था मुझे वह दिल नहीं रहा
2.
जाता हूं दाग़-ए हसरत-ए हसती लिये हुए
हूं शम`-ए कुशतह दरख़वुर-ए महफ़िल नहीं रहा
3.
मरने की अय दिल और ही तदबीर कर कि मैं
शायान-ए दसत-ओ-ख़नजर-ए क़ातिल नहीं रहा
4.
बर-रू-ए शश जिहत दर-ए आईनह बाज़ है
यां इमतियाज़-ए नाक़िस-ओ-कामिल नहीं रहा
5.
वा कर दिये हैं शौक़ ने बनद-ए नक़ाब-ए हुसन
ग़ैर अज़ निगाह अब कोई हाइल नहीं रहा
6.
गो मैं रहा रहीन-ए सितमहा-ए रोज़गार
लेकिन तिरे ख़याल से ग़ाफ़िल नहीं रहा
7.
दिल से हवा-ए किशत-ए वफ़ा मिट गई कि वां
हासिल सिवा-ए हसरत-ए हासिल नहीं रहा
8.
बेदाद-ए `इशक़ से नहीं डरता मगर 'असद'
जिस दिल पह नाज़ था मुझे वह दिल नहीं रहा

3.
marne kii ay dil aur hii tadbiir kar kih mai;N
shaayaan-e dast-o-;xanjar-e qaatil nahii;N rahaa
4.
bar-ruu-e shash jihat dar-e aa))iinah baaz hai
yaa;N imtiyaaz-e naaqi.s-o-kaamil nahii;N rahaa
5.
vaa kar diye hai;N shauq ne band-e naqaab-e ;husn
;Gair az nigaah ab ko))ii ;haa))il nahii;N rahaa
6.
go mai;N rahaa rahiin-e sitamhaa-e rozgaar
lekin tire ;xayaal se ;Gaafil nahii;N rahaa
7.
dil se havaa-e kisht-e vafaa mi;T ga))ii kih vaa;N
;haa.sil sivaa-e ;hasrat-e ;haa.sil nahii;N rahaa
8.
bedaad-e ((ishq se nahii;N ;Dartaa magar asad
jis dil pah naaz thaa mujhe vuh dil nahii;N rahaa

Translation
1.
I did not remain capable of the request for offering love,
The heart of which I had proud, that heart is no more.
2.
Now I go with the blemish of a desire of existence,
I am a killed candle, I did not remain suitable for the assembly.
3.
To die oh heart, make out another solution, as I,
Did not remain befitted to be killed by the hand and arm of the killer.
4.
In front of all the six directions, the gate of the mirror is open,
Here the discrimination between incomplete and complete did not remain.
5.
Zeal has opened the noose of the veil of beauty,
Except for the vision, now no other obstacle remained.
6.
Although I remained pawn to the tyranny and oppression of the world,
But I did not remain inattentive of the memory of you.
7.
From the heart, the desire for farming of love was erased, since there,
Gain, without the desire, did not remain.
8.
I am not scared of the tyranny of love, but "Asad",
The heart of which I had proud, that heart is no more.
