Ghazal no.57

1.
نفس نہ انجمنِ آرزو سے باہر کھینچ
اگر شراب نہیں انتظارِ ساغر کھینچ
2.
کمالِ گرمیِ سعیِ تلاشِ دید نہ پوچھ
بہ رنگِ خار مرے آئنے سے جوہر کھینچ
3.
تجھے بہانۂ راحت ہے انتضار اے دل
کیا ہے کس نے اشارہ کہ نازِ بستر کھینچ
4.
تری طرف ہے بہ حسرت نظارۂ نرگس
بہ کوریِ دل و چشمِ رقیب ساغر کھینچ
5.
بہ نیم غمزہ ادا کر حقِ ودیعتِ ناز
نیامِ پردۂ زخمِ جگر سے خنجر کھینچ
6.
مرے قدح میں ہے صہباۓ آتشِ پنہاں
بہ روۓ سفرہ کبابِ دلِ سمندر کھینچ

नफ़स न अनजुमन-ए आरज़ू से बाहर खेंच
अगर शराब नहीं इनतिज़ार-ए साग़र खेंच
2.
कमाल-ए गरमी-ए स`ई-ए तलाश-ए दीद न पूछ
ब रनग-ए ख़ार मिरे आइने से जौहर खेंच
3.
तुझे बहानह-ए राहत है इनतिज़ार अय दिल
किया है किस ने इशारह कि नाज़-ए बिसतर खेंच
4.
तिरी तरफ़ है ब हसरत नज़ारह-ए नरगिस
ब कोरी-ए दिल-ओ-चशम-ए रक़ीब साग़र खेंच
5.
ब नीम-ग़मज़ह अदा कर हक़-ए वदी`अत-ए नाज़
नियाम-ए परदह-ए ज़ख़म-ए जिगर से ख़नजर खेंच
6.
मिरे क़दह में है सहबा-ए आतिश-ए पिनहां
ब रू-ए सुफ़रह कबाब-ए दिल-ए समनदर खेंच

agar sharaab nahii;N inti:zaar-e saa;Gar khe;Nch
2.
kamaal-e garmii-e sa((ii-e talaash-e diid nah puuchh
bah rang-e ;xaar mire aa))ine se jauhar khe;Nch
3.
tujhe bahaanah-e raa;hat hai inti.zaar ay dil
kiyaa hai kis ne ishaarah kih naaz-e bistar khe;Nch
4.
tirii :taraf hai bah ;hasrat na:zaarah-e nargis
bah korii-e dil-o-chashm-e raqiib saa;Gar khe;Nch
5.
bah niim-;Gamzah adaa kar ;haq-e vadii((at-e naaz
niyaam-e pardah-e za;xm-e jigar se ;xanjar khe;Nch
6.
mire qada;h me;N hai .sahbaa-e aatish-e pinhaa;N
bah ruu-e sufrah kabaab-e dil-e samandar khe;Nch

Translation

1.
Do not outside the decorated assembly of desire draw a breath(Moment),
If not wine, then draw an awaiting the goblet of wine.
2.
Do not ask about the utmost effort with zeal to search for a display,
In the style of thorns, draw the polish-lines from my mirror.
(Green line on the mirror after polishing.)
3.
To you waiting is an excuse for peace and comfort, O heart,
Who gave you a hint, lie in bed with dignity.
4.
Toward you, with desire, is the sight of narcissus,
To cheer the ignorant of heart and blindness of the rival, draw a goblet of wine.
(Nargis, a flower, which resembles with beautiful eye.)
5.
With a half amorous glance repay the right of deposit of proud-beauty,
From the scabbard of the secret wound of the heart draw the dagger.
(Wound spreads after withdrawal of dagger.)
6.
In my goblet is the wine of secret fire of heart,
On the surface of dining-cloth,lay out the kebabs made of the heart of Salamander.
(Fire dwelling insect.)
