Ghazal no.59

1.
بلا سے ہیں جو بہ پیشِ نظر در و دیوار
نگاۂ شوق کو ہیں بال و پر در و دیوار
2.
وفورِ اشک نے کاشانے کا کیا یہ رنگ
کہ ہو گئے مرے دیوار و در در و دیوار
3.
نہیں ہے سایہ کہ سن کر نویدِ مقدمِ یار
گئے ہیں چند قدم پیشتر در و دیوار
4.
ہوئی ہے کس قدر ارزانیِ مۓ جلوہ
کہ مست ہے ترے کوچے میں ہر در و دیوار
5.
جو ہے تجھے سرِ سوداۓ انتظار تو آ
کہ ہیں دکانِ متاعِ نظر در و دیوار
6.
ہجومِ گریہ کا سامان کب کیا میں نے
کہ گر پڑے نہ مرے پانو پر در و دیوار
7.
وہ آ رہا مرے ہم سایے میں تو سایے سے
ہوئے فدا در و دیوار پر در و دیوار
8.
نظر میں کھٹکے ہے بن تیرے گھر کی آبادی
ہمیشہ روتے ہیں ہم دیکھ کر در و دیوار
9.
نہ پوچھ بے خودیِ عیشِ مقدمِ سیلاب
کہ ناچتے ہیں پڑے سر بہ سر در و دیوار
10.
نہ کہہ کسی سے کہ غالب نہیں زمانے میں
حریفِ رازِ محبّت مگر در و دیوار

बला से हैं जो यह पेश-ए नज़र दर-ओ-दीवार
निगाह-ए शौक़ को हैं बाल-ओ-पर दर-ओ-दीवार
2.
वुफ़ूर-ए अशक ने काशाने का किया यह रनग
कि हो गए मिरे दीवार-ओ-दर दर-ओ-दीवार
3.
नहीं है सायह कि सुन कर नवेद-ए मक़दम-ए यार
गए हैं चनद क़दम पेशतर दर-ओ-दीवार
4.
हुई है किस क़दर अरज़ानी-ए मै-ए जलवह
कि मसत है तिरे कूचे में हर दर-ओ-दीवार
5.
जो है तुझे सर-ए सौदा-ए इनतिज़ार तो आ
कि हैं दुकान-ए मता`-ए नज़र दर-ओ-दीवार
6.
हुजूम-ए गिरयह का सामान कब किया मैं ने
कि गिर पड़े न मिरे पांव पर दर-ओ-दीवार
7.
वह आ रहा मिरे हम-साये में तो साये से
हुए फ़िदा दर-ओ-दीवार पर दर-ओ-दीवार
8.
नज़र में खटके है बिन तेरे घर की आबादी
हमेशह रोते हैं हम देख कर दर-ओ-दीवार
9.
न पूछ बे-ख़वुदी-ए `ऐश-ए मक़दम-ए सैलाब
कि नाचते हैं पड़े सर ब सर दर-ओ-दीवार
10.
न कह किसी से कि ग़ालिब नहीं ज़माने में
हरीफ़-ए राज़-ए मुहबबत मगर दर-ओ-दीवार

2.
vufuur-e ashk ne kaashaane kaa kiyaa yih rang
kih ho ga))e mire diivaar-o-dar dar-o-diivaar
3.
nahii;N hai saayah kih sun kar naved-e maqdam-e yaar
ga))e hai;N chand qadam peshtar dar-o-diivaar
4.
hu))ii hai kis qadar arzaanii-e mai-e jalvah
kih mast hai tire kuuche me;N har dar-o-diivaar
5.
jo hai tujhe sar-e saudaa-e inti:zaar to aa
kih hai;N dukaan-e mataa((-e na:zar dar-o-diivaar
6.
hujuum-e giryah kaa saamaan kab kiyaa mai;N ne
kih gir pa;Re nah mire paa;Nv par dar-o-diivaar
7.
vuh aa rahaa mire ham-saaye me;N to saaye se
hu))e fidaa dar-o-diivaar par dar-o-diivaar
8.
na:zar me;N kha;Tke hai bin tere ghar kii aabaadii
hameshah rote hai;N ham dekh kar dar-o-diivaar
9.
nah puuchh be-;xvudii-e ((aish-e maqdam-e sailaab
kih naachte hai;N pa;Re sar bah sar dar-o-diivaar
10.
nah kah kisii se kih ;Gaalib nahii;N zamaane me;N
;hariif-e raaz-e mu;habbat magar dar-o-diivaar

Translation

1.
Who cares with these that are in front of the sight doors and walls,
To the desirous glance,wings and feathers are doors and walls.
(Strength)
2.
The excessive tears has done such a condition in the house,
That my walls and doors became doors and walls.
3.
There is no shadow,for having heard the good news of beloved's arrival,
They have moved few steps forward,doors and walls.
4.
To what a limit has slumped the wine of appearance,
That in your street is intoxicated,every doors and walls.
5.
If you have mind for the eccentricity of awaiting,then come,
For they are the shop full of goods for the sight,doors and walls.
6.
When did I ever collect the tools to attack crowd of weeping,
For did not they fall at my feet and prevent me,doors and walls.
7.
When she came and stayed in my neighbour,then of the shade,
Doors and walls became infatuated for doors and walls.
8.
In the eyesight the in-habitation of the house irritates,without you,
I non stop weep,seeing,doors and walls.
9.
Do not ask about the delirium of the pleasure for the news of arrival of deluge,
For they dance,fallen,end to end,doors and walls.
10.
Do not tell it to any one,that "Ghalib",in the period there is no,
With-stander of the secret of love,except,doors and walls.
