Interpretation-Ghazal-38

1.
I am the dry lip of those who have passed away from this world in a state of longing and ardor, without got success,
For this very reason I became the pilgrimage for those with broken hearts and sufferings.
(My deprivation has reached the limit of perfection.)
(This is the greatest language of purity.)
(A hint towards TAJ MAHAL.)

2.
From the heart to foot I have become a picture of hopelessness and distrust,
Because I am the heart of those people who have already been deceived by the illusion of the faithfulness and ardor.
(The power of expression of the first line,is Ghalib's special ability.)
